Will advertisers learn?
I've just been reading an article that say Brands are excited about advertising in iPad applications, and publications. http://bit.ly/dnAJYf Lets hope they learn the lessons from previous mistakes in digital, mistakes that have been made in mobile device advertising.
For example, and this isn't rocket science, you've got a product on a full page advert; tilt the iPad forward and the product moves/rotates towards the user, tilt it left or right and the product rotates left or right, imagine the tilting interacting with video... the results could be astounding. Even touching the image to rotate it will be immense, but there are so many possiblities. OK, maybe there will be technical issues of file size to overcome, or maybe it will be too expensive to produce, but that's where we should be heading...very exciting.

Up and running...
At last, we've had a few days clear of snow and all the excuses it creates.
So apart from extended core pallet wrap, all supplies are flying out the door. Popular as ever bubble wrap. So why doesn't some one invent a polythene sheet that can be rolled up tight, like pallet wrap, but when its unrolled, expands like bubble. Just think of the saving in storage and transport cost.
Must get the thinking cap on....

Even more stuck!
Oh dear, as suspected, the roads today are worse than yesterday, so no deliveries again for us I'm afraid.

Happy New Year!
No we havent been out with the Flopak, this is real and much worse than before Christmas, but
lots to sort out and the weather isnt helping, this pic was taken at 8.30am today, so I don't know whether the van can go out, the forecast is for 20cm today, so if the van went out I don't think we would ever see it again, which wouldn't be that bad, but we've kind of grown fond of John the driver :-)

Extreme Pallet Wrap
I've just been reading about our boys out in Afghanistan, and their water requirements (Packaging News Dec 2009) There is so much that has to be considered, from having to wrap the pallets three times more than normal, to survive air drops; to the type of plastic for the bottles so that they can survive the extremes of temperature +50 to below minus at night. And on top of all that the lads have got people trying to kill them; maybe the credit crunch isnt as bad as it seems.
